Creating Workplaces

Where People Thrive

Kathy Jourdain and Jerry Nagel have spent their careers helping organizations

build healthier, more human workplaces — through facilitation, training,

strategic planning, and the science of worldviews.

Meet Kathy & Jerry

Jerry Nagel, PhD and Kathy Jourdain, MBA have spent decades working at the intersection of human dynamics, leadership, and organizational change. Together, they bring a rare combination of deep theoretical grounding and hands-on practitioner wisdom – having worked with leaders, teams, and communities across sectors and around the world. Their collaborative approach centers relationship, rigor, and a genuine belief in people's capacity to grow.

Our Story

Worldview Intelligence began with a simple but profound question: why do people in the same organization, with the same information and the same goals, see things so completely differently? After decades of facilitation work across sectors and borders, Kathy and Jerry kept encountering the same friction — teams stuck in misalignment not because of bad intentions, but because of invisible differences in how people fundamentally see the world.

The Worldview Intelligence Six Dimensions Framework emerged from that question — a synthesis of neuroscience, behavioral science, cross-cultural research, and thousands of hours of applied organizational work. It gives teams a shared language for something that has always been felt but never named. For the first time, leaders could look at their culture not as a fixed thing to manage, but as a living system to understand and shape.

Worldview Intelligence was founded in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Minneapolis, Minnesota, but the work has taken Kathy and Jerry into boardrooms, union halls, leadership retreats, and virtual meeting rooms across North America and beyond. What has never changed is the core belief that drove them from the beginning: workplaces can be profoundly human places — and the path there starts with understanding.

“We believe that when people understand how they have come to see and experience the world, everything changes — conversations, decisions, relationships, and results.”

— Kathy Jourdain & Jerry Nagel, Co-Founders

About Worldview Intelligence and Healthy Workplace Culture

Worldview Intelligence is the research-grounded, practice-tested body of knowledge that underpins everything we do. When applied to organizational settings, it becomes the foundation for a Healthy Workplace Culture, that includes AI integration – a practical, measurable approach to generating environments where people thrive and organizations perform.

The Worldview Intelligence six dimensions Framework

The Six Dimensions Framework is the proprietary model behind all of Worldview Intelligence's work —

grounded in academia, brain and behavioral science, systems thinking and decades of applied research.

What Is Worldview Intelligence?

Worldview Intelligence is the capacity to understand how our deeply held assumptions — about identity, relationships, time, knowledge, nature, and the sacred — shape every decision, conversation, and conflict we experience — at work, at home, in social situations.

The Six Dimensions Framework maps these invisible forces into visible patterns. When people can see their own worldview clearly — and recognize how others see differently — the workplace becomes a fundamentally different kind of place.

Developed over two decades of cross-sector applied research, the Framework has been used in government, healthcare, education, corporate, and community settings across North America, in Bermuda, Europe and Australia.
