The CIDA-W Planning Model

CIDA-W describes the process we consistently apply to our work with clients — Clarify, Illuminate, Design, Act — always informed by worldviews and Worldview Intelligence.

The Model at a Glance

Each step builds on the last — and Worldviews informs every one of them.

What Happens at Each Stage

Step by Step

C

STEP 01

CLARIFY

Client conversations start by clarifying need, purpose, and outcomes to ensure shared understanding and commitment.

STEP 02

ILLUMINATE

We identify root causes by illuminating worldviews, issues, concerns, challenges, and underlying or hidden dynamics — using one-on-one interviews, employee engagement, assessments, or other research methodologies.

D

STEP 03

DESIGN

We move into design by creating the facilitation, training, or executive support architecture, with psychological safety, belonging, and employee engagement in mind.

STEP 04

ACT

Act is delivery and implementation of what emerges in the design — including feedback loops and adaptation.

Worldviews & Worldview Intelligence runs through every step — not as an add-on, but as the lens through which each stage is understood and applied.

The Worldviews Thread

Worldviews and Worldview Intelligence leadership and development inform all planning aspects — including applying the Six Dimensions Framework, worldviews, and brain and behavioral science throughout the process.

The CIDA-W model is not strictly linear — it moves back and forth between current and future states, always staying responsive to what people are experiencing.
